circulation of the catec dry cabinets

customers might have a question about catec dry cabinets:

Is there any life cycle in the dry unit? If yes, is it possible to exchange it? how's the circulation of the dry unit?

The way how the dry unit absorbs and discharges the moisture inside the cabinet is a physical phenomenon, so theoretically there is not any life cycle in the drying agent. The dryer units we usually repair are those which have almost been used over 15 years, and we mainly repair the electric parts, rather than the dry unit.

the dehumidification process of the dry cabinet is a physical process of moisture absorbing and exhausting by special dessicator of which the core part / dehumidify unit is the special macromolecule and memory shape alloy, with the circulation of Absorbing-Evaporating/exhausting-Absorbing-Evaporating/exhausting, and dehumidify unit is attached on inner back of the cabinet. The working process includes two stages:
--Absorpting Stage: during this process, the humidity is reducing.
The valves are opened inwards and closed outwards in order to absorb moisture by the desiccants of the dehumidify unit inside the dry cabinet until saturation.
--Exhausting Stage: during this process, the humidity will rise 1-2 points because of back valve opening.
The valves are opened outwards and closed inwards in order to exhaust moisture out of the dry cabinet from the saturated desiccants in the Dehumidify Unit. During this process, you can feel quite hot when you put your hand on the back part where the dehumidify unit is fixed.

Both the stages will cycle automatically. The whole process is controlled by the enclosure of Shape Memory Alloy that will adjust the Absorbing--Exhausting circulation smartly by the help of the component of PTC(positive temperature coefficient) inside. The dehumidify unit is composed of the PTC component, Molecular Sieve and the Shape Memory Alloy.

simply speaking, the process goes like this:
1. power on, start working automatically, the desiccants of molecular sieve absorbs the moisture from the stored items;
2. the desiccants get saturated, the shape memory alloy will work for back valve to be opening, and so the desiccants exhaust the water inside its body;
3. some heat will happen during exhausting, thus push the PTC to work to close the valve until exhausting finished. (the PTC will produce resistance when heated, this is the PTC's feature.)
4. the desiccants recover to be dry and thus start working for absorbing the water from the stored items;
5. new circulation of absorbing and exhausting.
